About Us

The idea for rebe did not come to life in an office, but in a university setting. Four students were looking for a solution to an environmental or social challenge and ended up focusing on fashion. This is because fashion is responsible for around 10% of global emissions.

We asked ourselves the question:
What can be improved?

We quickly realised alternatives exist. In addition to well-known platforms such as Vinted, Sellpy, and Momox, we discovered countless smaller, passionate sellers who are dedicated to second-hand and vintage goods but are hardly known. This is precisely where we wanted to begin.

We make second-hand the number one choice.

To do this, we bring together a diverse range of second-hand and vintage online shops. We want to centralise the fragmented market and, specifically, empower smaller shops. Every shop has its own story, but they all share a passion for fashion and a desire to keep clothes in circulation.

And if you can’t find it at rebe, you can buy new with a clear conscience.

We want to change the way people think:
Second-hand should not be seen as a ‘second choice’, but as the first and best choice.
